AmeriCorps Seniors-RSVP is a national service program which works to match volunteers, age 55+ with Volunteers of America Colorado Programs plus 30 non-profits in Denver, Douglas, and Western Arapahoe counties. You can use the skills and talents you have learned over the years or develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within our community.

Volunteers of America Colorado RSVP’s mission is to match your skills, experiences, and time to a volunteer opportunity that suit you. You can use the skills and talents you have learned over the years or develop new ones while serving in a variety of volunteer activities within our community. RSVP volunteers choose how, where, and how often they want to serve, with commitments ranging from a few hours to 40 hours per week. AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP partners with VOAC programs plus 30 non-profits in Denver, Douglas, and Western Arapahoe counties to offer you a variety of volunteer opportunities.
RSVP four focus areas include: Healthy futures, education, veteran services, and community needs. Volunteer opportunities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Tutor and Mentor children in schools
- Provide GED / ESL Training
- Deliver meals
- Serve meals
- Work with Veterans and their families
- Community resilience / disaster preparedness speaker’s bureau
- Knitting/Crochet / Craft to support the community
- Help alleviate food insecurity
- One-time special projects & events
- And more
