Paloma Garden is a new 125-unit senior affordable housing development located in southeastern Colorado Springs, CO. The development is a combination of two properties: 50 renovated apartment units at 3140 Mallard Drive and 75 new construction apartments at 920 S. Chelton Road. Paloma Garden provides permanently affordable rentals for low-income seniors aged 62 and older.
On-site management and service coordination provided by Volunteers of America Colorado. Features of the new building include a dishwasher, garbage disposal, oven, refrigerator, microwave, side by side washer/dryers, walk-in showers, and balconies. Additionally, the new building was built to Enterprise Green Standards, which includes energy efficient plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, and appliances.
Paloma Garden serves residents with incomes in the 30-60% AMI range. For 2024 the HUD El Paso County income range is $21,840 to $49,920.
