Caring Companions – Northern Colorado

Caring Companions ease an older adult’s loneliness.

There are 48,000 family caregivers in Larimer County who care for an older, oftentimes disabled, adult. As a caring companion volunteer, your time spent with older adults provides them with friendship and gives the caregiver a break from their responsibilities.

You will NOT be asked to cook, clean, drive, or administer medicine. Opportunities throughout Larimer County. Visiting times are flexible and are determined by the volunteer and family. Volunteers must commit 2 hours per week for six months.
